Another Indy Autocross....Points event #2

Another chapter closed in my autocross season. And it was a rocky one to say the least.

Results:

- 3rd out of 11 in class
- 35th out of 107 on indexed time
Left the event with the points lead for the year in class.

It was a day of fighting my terrible allergies and feeling awful all day. I was unable to properly "read" the feedback that the car was giving me....and made incorrect adjustments. The course was very tight as well (of course it was....a Miata driver designed it ). All these factors added up to not a great day driving-wise....so chalk it up to experience. But enough complaining.....

I finished only .15 of a second out of 2nd, and only .5 of a second out of first. So it was close. With correct adjustments, top of the podium was not out of the question.
Watery, itchy eyes are a challenge when driving a car to its limits!
We now have the class points lead and don't plan on giving it up. Consistency and persistence pays...
Pics and video to come soon.....

congrats, glad to see your season is starting out well. It says something when you can maintain a good day racing even through sickness.

already done here, I made the mistake of sleeping with the windows open one night during the peak season here... major bummer man both me and my gf were down for the count, made it horrible at work.

how did you do in the pre indexed overall? I want to see how an RA with coilovers holds up. they walk all over me in sts, but my overalls are always decent.

^^ Raw time would be mid-pack, about 53rd I think. Still not bad out of 107 (and it wasn't a good driving day), also considering I am not even prepared to the max limits of my class yet.
FTD was a F125 shifter cart....42.660! That thing was blazing fast (my best was 55.050)

those damn karts always do that to me. i don't think I would want to drive one of those, I saw one about flip at knights stadium one year here. Too much power and too light.
