Question Need ralliart help

Ok im going turbo in a couple of months and i will be buying some supporting mods this week. I will prob be ordering them all at once and i know that i can get most everything from RRM. Now what i want to know is if you guys have found cheaper places to get some of this stuff. What im wanting to get for now is.

Underdrive pulley
a 2 gauge piller set
boost gauge (possibly the mount that goes over the steering wheel)
Egt gauge (Thanks dan)
Turbo timer
motor mounts
Oil pressure gauge

The gauges dont need to be flashy or digital im just looking for a decently priced black gauges and i want a good brand.
And im wanting to know what clutch i should go with the stage 1 or just get the stage 3. I wont be dragging or anything if this helps but i do drive my car spiritly

The rea son im starting this thread is that i have found most of the stuff but i dont want to buy if i can get it cheaper somewhere else an i know a lot of you guys have already gone through this so thank you for your input.

Underdrive pulley (RRM ONLY)

a 2 gauge piller set (try ebay or the lancer shop) there are some issues with the tweeter

boost gauge (possibly the mount that goes over the steering wheel) ok so I think you are refering to the steering wheel column pod (try searchin the FS in the forums if not ebay they are like 30ish

Egt gauge (Thanks dan) I bought mine from summitracing.com (autometer rocks)

Turbo timer (they all work the same way, I had the HKS with the EVO harness)

motor mounts (you can do em yourself if you have the time search in the how to section)

Oil pressure gauge (autometer from summitracing)

From what I have heard prosports are good for the price and they are amber in color also. I was looking at this turbo timer yesterday and it looks amazing http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/APEXI...QQcmdZViewItem im not sure about the functionality of it though.

Prosport gauges FTW!!! , i bought 5 gauges from them and they are great, and they have really good customer service as well check em out, you don't want to cheap out when you need to rely on your gauges.

there are all kinds of options for short shifters, and the B&M from RRM is way overpriced compared to the other options. We use the same shifter as the Evo 8, so anything for it (but not MR) will work for us. lancershop.com is one of the MANY places you can get a ss kit.

I would buy the best gauges you are willing to pay for, that way you can be happy with what you get. Two things here: first and foremost these are going to be seen, by everyone, all the time, so make sure that you like them; second, they have to be accurate enough for them to be functional. you can buy these about anywhere, google a brand name you are interested in and some shop somewhere is going to make them available online at a decent price. be careful about buying stuff off ebay, every single line of text in those auctions is part of the contract so read every word man.

as for clutch, you shouldn't need a huge step up. I would imagine anything better than OEM would be ok for your projected boost. There are only a few places who offer a clutch kit, but I am sure you can find places to source a kit from whatever brand you want. I would stay away from putting money in the clutch if you don't already need one. There are lot's of things you could spend that money on to assist the turbo the longer you can save money for the clutch install the more you can do when you have the clutch done (flywheel, lsd, clutch package=+eleventy billion)

While doing the motor mounts youself would save you little money, and you would have the time of the turbo install to let them cure, I would consider buying RRM's mounts. They aren't that expensive, and if you ask me it's one less headache in a major install. Who wants to spend a couple hours cleaning and refilling stock mounts when you are in the middle of a multiple day project already

RPW prices in AU$, and shipping will be expensive. Nothing against RPW but until they can break the ocean barrier without passing on the cost only their high dollar items would be worth considering having shipped.
