Apparently the turbo 2.4 in the new Caliber Srt-4 is going to be the mitsubishi 4g69 with a new nameplate for dodge and and a DOHC. If this is really the same engine that we have, this would be the ultimate swap for a turbo engine. I know that RRM's turbo kit is awesome, but for around the same price you could probably pick up this engine(which will have lower compression and better oil flow, and may possibly be a pretty close bolt in. We all know that since this is going to be the new neon that there will probably be many of them totaled in the not so far future and may have easy access to getting our hands on these engines.

DOHC in my car.. i always thought that was just a dream.. haha

 

Sweet as that would be, I don't think it is the case. The bore and stroke are different from the 4g69, so it's more than a just a turbo and DOHC.

 

i wonder if there turbo kits will fit our cars . . .
