Also, get this... Stages, like the Srt-4....but imputting the BS flag on that... Mitsu is way stingy with it's warranty for that to happen
Take info from dealers with a grain of salt. IMO we know more than they do most of the time.
If that is true though (about 225hp FWD)..... to Mitsu.
I would get a WRX with more power and AWD if that was the case....and if I was in the market to get a new car (which I won't be).

Is not really a dealer which told me. He's a Technician, coming back from mtsu training for the new models.

Besides, Mitsu has competition for the Sti. With 225 hp WRX's have nothing more than the launch.... WRXs loose their ***** after second gear anyway. Im not interested in beating anything I can beat with my RA on the highway anyway. Im thinking they are shooting for New GTIs and the like, u know, battle for the 200 hp segment.

Not really defending the comments, but looking at the possibility

Another thing is that even on open deck, a little more boost and gas will work wonders.

Ahhhh....that's different then. I would likely believe what that tech said, especially coming back from new model training.

I see your point about going after the GTIs and the like....but still man, AWD ownz! At least if it comes out as FWD, put an LSD on that biatch for some tracktion!

I'm actually going to lock the other one. It's too cluttered with stuff about the base Lancers, we need a thread dedicated to the new Ralliart.

If Mitsu doesnt put an LSD on this theyre screwed, no fun on a peg leg, turbo, HEAVY car. Also, it has to be a 6 speedster.... either that or the Evo IX RS 5speed tranny, that one has *****

I dont have many details about it. But im glad they went turbo for the segment, I prefer mitsus turbo cars to their N/A offerings

not to change sudject but when the evo9 where first coming out, i went to look at one and i had a ralliart.i ask him if they had a evo 9 ,and he replied"no not yet,but you have a nice evo right there".i told him it was a ralliart and he said"are you sure".i always thought that if you work at a mitsubishi dealer it might just help to know something about them.

i was lucky at my mitsu dealer. the guy that sold me the RA had been wanting an RA for a while, so he knew a lot about it.

anyways, on topic now, i'm excited for the new RA to come out. i'm thinking about trading...but i don't know...the crappy resale value is still a big hit against them.

hopefully if the new RA does come out, it will at least have the same widebody as the evo X. and hopefully Mitsu's plan of having the new AWD turboed ralliart will fall through so i don't get jealous of everyone trading in their car for it
