I think that's a really high estimate. I'm thinking 155whp is more realistic, and around 150tq. No way he's getting 30+ hp out of those mods.

I originally was going with 150WHP but I wanted to see what you guys thought. I guess otter thinks its about that range.

I've looked at a dyno for the Fujita on their site, on a 4g69 eclipse and I think that it picked up right around 12-13whp and like 10 tq. RRM claims somewhere around 8-9whp with the pulley. Catback should be good for 3-5hp, since our exhaust are already good enough.

Car is stock at 162 @ the crank, somewhere around 143-148 whp right?

lets say 145 + 11 + 7 + 3 = 166 + 2% loss = 163 whp is my guess. Thats taking into effect that most mods hurt the power gains of other mods.

So lets say with 3 mods you are probably somwhere around 184hp and 181tq at the crank and 163whp and 159wtq. Probably good for a 9.7 on the 1/8th or 14.6 on the 1/4 with a good driver.

Went a little further in depth just incase you had any more questions you hadn't gotten to yet

Our cars dyno around 135-145 stock, with the occasional 150+ on a dynojet. I don't even think you'd gain 3hp from the catback until you did something about the downpipe. Honestly, though, we can all sit here and guess, but it's pointless. You need to dyno your car, then use the same dyno every time you mod if you want to accurately know what the gains are.

Exactly. Everyone can tell you what kind of numbers they're getting, but they honestly don't mean squat as far as how your car is going to perform/respond to various mods.

For example, I started at 130 whp / 136 ft-lbs on my '06 (Mustang Dyno @ Vivid Racing). Next, I added the UDP and was up to 135 whp / 138 ft-lbs. Then, I bolted on my Injen CAI and did a custom Magnaflow muffler weld-on and was at 146 whp / 143 ft-lbs.

So, as you can see - I gained 16 whp and 7 ft-lbs with nearly the exact mods that you're asking about but am still technically at where some people say they are stock.

Tomorrow I'm adding the camshaft and intake manifold and will hopefully do a dyno pull or three within the next couple of weeks and see where I'm at.

Good luck to you.

Mustang dynos.... while people say they give the most real hp, I always tend to drive away from them. I have this belief they overload the engine in a way thats more unnatural than the road itself. Ive never felt any car that will accelerate as fast as they do on the road on a Mustang dyno. I feel that they are intended for big displacement engines that would be less affected by this anomaly. While our engine is torquey, it makes the torque quite high in rpm, and let's face it, is not a 200+ tq like a V8 engine
