Hey orlando, yeah I'll give them a ring (it's Sunday by the way). But they have a cell phone number so I'll give that a call.

Tell me what you all want to know so I can have questions ready for this vendor.

1. How much?
2. Cost shipping to the states.
3. Cost of a group buy etc.

Ask all the questions here so I know what to ask! hehe

1- HOW MUCH SHIPPED TO THE US zip code 98026
2- Is this supposed to be installed between the header and cat? or after cat?

I am very interested in this device, it seems we can finally control backpressure and get advantage of it .....

yeah I read all their articles on exhaust systems and that web site has great info ...

NOte, after analizing here at work this system is pretty easy to manufacture, even the controller is easy to make Here is my INTRO :

Ok so they basically use a machined Throttle Body .... they modify the accelerator cable part and install a circle plate instead... for the control they use a vacuum actuator similar to the ones used on the N/A cruise control cars... and for the controller you will need a few parts that are cheap also such as pressure switches and vacuum solenoids (similar to those used on A/C systems)

Ok i know you guys went trough this but i am running with the stock "header" 2.5 Custom DP with HF Cat, resonator and 2.5 Borla Muffler and sounds just a little bit louder than stock. The cat is removable and i have the test pipe for track nights. And regarding the cops in PR they tried to give my brother a ticket with stock exhaust and after a serious talk with the officer i convinced him that it was a stock system. The intention of the law is that you should not remove the muffler or modify it (striping the internal parts) in order to make noise. Any other exhaust system is legal, the problem is that the cops are so DUMB that they dont know or don't give a $h1% and you have to go to court and fight the ticket. I've been pulled over 3 times for tints and have yet to be fined for the exhaust. (knock on wood)

I really dont know why they are such a morons and always try to give you tickets for exhaust even thou you may have CAT + resonator + muffler..

So you are telling me as long as you have those three things they shouldn't give you a exhaust ticket?

Yup, if you have all the exhaust components in your car they shouldn't give you the ticket. If they don't have anything better to do, they will, but tell them that you are going to court, and that if they don't present themself you are going to present an Administrative copliant ( querella administrativa) against him for labeling you and the car. (remember this is in PR only. I've done it a couple of times and has worked. Good luck!!!

To add to this, the law also states that (obviously) removing the Cat IS illegal, this without any relation to noise levels produced by the car, so in other words, just put a HF Cat, and you should be fine with the exhaust you put on as long as its not a straight pipe all the way to the back . Oooooorrr if somehow you could make the car a very silent one w/o the Cat....but I'm pro-nature so stick with the Cat

So for instance if I have a HF cat + resonator + N1 style muffler I should be fine ?

Yeah, it should make you legal, but again, if its loud, you will catch the popo's attention. You will just have to make your way through or as we say, hacerte de las tuyas .

Again the law states this:

It does not state what level is categorized as unnecesary noise neither it says you have to have OEM muffler(you are allowed to put any muffler you want under legal conditions). all you need is CAT+resonator+muffler.

cops or judge cant say you cant have another muffler because you have a right to replace parts with non OEM ones. All tickets will be becuase of noise regardless because they wont fine you for the muffler...They will fine you because they infer you make noise because you have a "shiny" muffler

matute cual es el borla que pusite el S-type o Turbo....
