I just used the yellow bulb from luminics or something like that from ebay. I rock them everytime my headlights are on and so far i've blown out 2 sets of silverstars and these haven't even dimmed. However my foglight bulb is cracked so i might actually get those yellow ones off ebay some day. Anyone know how a yellow housing affects a yellow bulb? Does it enhance it or anything? haha I don't know anything about optics...

my right fog light lens looked like it had a crack in it too and it kept blowing the bulb every month or so.....

you don't want HID fogs, especially yellow, it brightens the foreground, thus making your eyes focus on much shorter distances. you want your eyes to focus outward as much as possible, normal fog bulbs are sufficient.

Do the stock fog light lenses accept HID?
Not to highjack this thread, but how is everyone adjusting their HID driving lights? I mean, I know how to adjust them, with the adjuster, but what is everyone's method of setting them besides driving, adjusting....driving, adjusting......you get the picture.

How else would you adjust them? take your hood off, tie your friend to your car and drive around at night and scream "UP" or "Down" as he adjusts them for you?

Try adjusting them against a wall maybe?

Sounds like a good idea.

Have you installed the HID fogs yet? How are you going to space them so the cutoff is correct?

You can see this link and look for 'selective yellow'. I put them in my fogs two years ago and they are great, especially in fog or snow.
