exhaust comparison
i have an injen CAI. I bought it, it's mine. I own it.
my question is.. do i buy a greddy evo2 exhaust. or go with the magnaflow 2.25 cbe?
i can get the cai installed with the magnaflow installed for 1000.
or.. i can get the cai installed with the greddy installed for 1900.
these funds are canadian? and are they worth it? which one is the better deal?

Nothing against RRM but you can get the same exhaust off ebay for $100ish bucks and then just get your own custom piping run.. and you would have more money than 900 to spend somewhere else
Buy a borla muffler for 160, and get an exhaust shop to give you a custom cat back exhaust, and weld the muffler onto your car. 160+200=360 (american dollars, dont know about you canucks) Borla sounds better on imports than any other muffler. Hands down. If you need help installing your CAI have a freind with some experience help you. The instructions with the injen CAI are awesome, my mother could bolt it in. Buy a 12 pack of beer for your freind and go to town, SAVE MONEY. There is no reason to spend nearly 2 grand on 10 horsepower lol. If you do it that way, with the money your saving you can buy a body kit and LSD lol. YIKES

it seems you're not increasing the pipe diameter anyway, so why bother with a whole catback system? you won't really make any gains, just either get an axleback setup which is much cheaper, or what i did, just welded on a magnaflow with custom piping. i saved a ton of $$$, and i'd still have money leftover for other mods.
and as ROL suggested, install the CAI yourself, you'll be glad you did.

As much as I like my Greddy Evo 2, I don't think its worth the extra 900 Canadian dollars for installation, but if you have the money and it doesn't bother you to spend it, GO FOR IT. You'll love the look and tone of the exhaust!
