Hi so last night i driving and was going around 90km on a 70km road when suddenly i was going thru this light, there was an unfinished paving road that left a inch or two of a BUMP and i thought it was alright...... so i went thru it anywheres not realizing my ralliart is lower than other normal cars.....so as i over it i heard a 'BUMP' assuming my bottom of my car touch the unpaved BUMP...so i went to look at the front my Ralliart, i see that this PLASTIC-LIKED thingy(around the engine area) on one side was hanging under the car IS THIS NORMAL???

p.s im really not good at any auto terms sry

black with some holes in it?? or was it the lip on the front??

lots of plastic on our cars around the engine area...


also anything hanging below the splash guards isn't normal... nothing should be hanging down from the engine area...

 

Im guessing the splash guard. The rivots have probably popped out.

happens all the time...mine ripped off going over 120...so I pulled over checked the car...also my pants and kept my merry way

Eh, you just bent it up a bit. Check for missing snaps and replace them, or zip tie them, then go on with life.

 

ummm can i just bring it to my dealer and they can fix it OR can i just LIVE wit that??

 

if they do it for free for some reason do it.

otherwise just live with it. its a small.. thing.. not even a problem.

 

not a problem.. don't stress. If you look at any photo's of my car its hanging down. I'm missing half of them anyways when i took the car off-roading... haha

ya every time I take my splash guard off more clips break anyways

 

when i did my UD pulley i had clips leftover ....

I broke the clips to my stock intake awhile back and went in.. and the parts guy gave me like 5 of them free... had them right under the counter

hell another time he gave me a set of lugnuts for free too just cuz i had been in there so much buying parts and such...

easy fix!
