My 04 ralliart
um...no.
Can I ask why you put that on there? More rear downforce?
Warning: answer incorrectly and I will ridicule you with engineering logic as to why that wing is a waste of $$.

The wing, is okay. Not my style but if you evened it out with more cosmetic maybe it could be a flashy show car.. but who knows, I like the low profile look, I hate attention.. haha
PS: Tint them windows!

I'm not an engineer, but I understand aerodynamics, downforce and drag, and their relation to handling and grip. This would be at faster-than-highway-speeds though.
Maybe I'm insensitive (don't really care if I am or not), but a big farking wing on a FWD car is just retarded. It would make more sense from a performance standpoint if you bolted it onto the hood instead of the trunk (think about it).
If it is purely for show, then let me congratulate you on an aesthetically bad sense of style.
Just noticed that was your first post....

You should know that adding downforce to the rear at speed has absolutely nothing to do with traction on the drive wheels, whether they're front, rear, or AWD.
I am assuming that the wing is purely for aesthetic value to the owner (next time just send me the money and I will find a better way to use it).
Otter, wings have everything to do with maintaining speed through corners, i.e. creating downforce for better handling (aerodynamic grip). Which is related to traction (at least in my mind, but I might be stupid). The cost is increasing drag (friction):
"Although aerodynamics continues to play an important role in car design, it is most important in racecar design. The same principles that apply to aircraft are applied here, but with a twist. The shape of a racecar chassis is similar to an inverted wing or airfoil that creates downforce rather than lift. This keeps the car on the ground at high speeds and increases traction around curves because the air under the car is moving faster than that the air above it. Slower moving air creates greater pressure, forcing the car down against the track." - Wisegeek
But the wing that the OP has installed isn't higher than the roofline, so all the air that is hitting it is turbulent air.....which will do little to nothing for the handling of the car, acting more like a spoiler than a wing.
Further, adding rear downforce to a car like the Ralliart (FWD) that has severe understeer in cornering (I've seen you push badly on an autocross course, just like me
)....won't help much at all. But a front lip spoiler.......just might help, won't it?
But all this talk is more or less about handling on a track.
So let me revise my statement a bit: a big farking wing on what appears to be a street driven car and will not see a track is retarded.
I would love to see the wind tunnel data on that wing the OP has installed. I bet it doesn't create more than 3 lbs. of downforce at 100mph.
If the wing is intended to make the car handle better, the money would have been better spent by lowering the car with stiffer springs, and fixing the weak rear stock sway bar & perches. But what do I know?
BTW -- Otter is the greatest, and will let you sleep in his tent when needed.

I was starting to worry that you were hanging around your NASCAR buddies a bit too much.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA thats f*nking AWESOME. If i said it once, i said it 30 times. Arithmatic, your the man. I was silky johnson for holloween one year... best 320 dollars i spent on a halloween costum. Took first place in both parties
i dont like how it is in the pic. i think with the stock body, you should lower the wing some how. to look closer to the stock wing onthe ralliart. i think itd kinda look like the new lancer gts or whatever.
