Still go with silverstars, since the projectors made for our car isn't designed for HID.

ok otter this one will be an easy one for you but.....

since you say ultras have been great

1.the question here is using a 55W+ will burn the w/e(sorry forgot the name in english) it is ppl get burned when using cool blues or not DOT aproved bulbs?

2. will daytime running lights be an issue with aftermarket bulbs?...dont want to test for my self that they will go out way quicker if i have this....i know they will last less than someone without daytime lights...but i hope not that fast

1. You're talking about the connector harness being burned. I have used the Ultras in both my 91 galant vr4, my 93 sho, and my lancer RA and have had no problems. However i have never used the cool blues... I also have H3 silverstars in my fogs too, until i swapped over to yellow's.

2. My silver stars (headlights) are only turned on when necesary at the latest possible moment. I also do a lot of night time driving, but my bulbs burned out almost exactly 1 year from the date i bought them, and both burned out within a 4 hour period, though i'm not sure if it might have been a power surge of some sort.

Well obviously since the lights are always on they'll most likely burn out faster. But just for reference sake, mines lasted about a year, and so far the new ones I have in there are just basic silverstars and have been going strong for about 3/4 of a year now. Though they're getting a bit dimmer... which I expect.
