Open door light stays on

It happens randomly and mostly after the trunk is opened...anyone ever had this problem. Maybe its the sensors but they are still so young

it is a mitsubishi..
might be a loose wire. Or the sensor is just a dud. You should see how many duds we find on the assembly floor at the firm I work at... I can only imagine how many get out on the field...

probably just a sensor, your seems pretty new so you should have a warrenty. just take it in to and let them deal with it.

Well gee, that feels comforting

I have heard an astronomical amount of electronical components are bad that make it to market.

shh.. that's my secret job in my basement...
I make airbags for a living.. jk

But yea if the car is still under warranty bring it to the dealer. If its the sensor its a quick fix.
