The Lancer Ralliart is confirmed for the 2009, come with 2.4 engine and 163HP also the price will be the same as the GTS 08.

Also my local dealer Mitsu say the info for the ralliart 2009 will be available after thanksgiving.

When i get news about it, i release here the info.

i don't give a fork about the turbo or hp, AWD is all i want to hear about.

 

You'd start to care when that 162hp gets split to 4 wheels....gotta have the power to go with the AWD or else it's no fun at all.

 

i could understand low hp gain if it was a 4 WD car, but if its stiill front wheel drive and they increased the car by 400cc. WTF was the engineer smoking? you can squeeze more outta that.

huh i wonder if this is what ROCK was talking about getting? i thought it was just gonna be the new GTS with the 2.4 and all the others get the 2.0 liter and then still have the evo and ralliart above the GTS. whatever; screw mitsu, i think ive determined i need to at least keep this car a few years anyway so i dont get totally screwed on my trade in and ill wait for something real nice to come out with no bugs like the 08.

3 people from mitsu tell me the same thing about the lancer ralliart 2009, take it easy when i have the details i will posted here.

Also tell me some details no comfirmed, the same body as the actual GTS no wider like the evo X, dual exaust, the rear bumper similar as the evo X, xenon lights like the evo X, diferent hood with vents.

But not confirmed it has the turbo or AWD, after thanksgiving the dealers get the final details about the 2009 lancer ralliart.

sounds like ralliart = upgraded (slightly) of our GTS.

cuz i heard from a dealership in canada GTS is replaced by ralliart.

 

I believe the Ralliart replacing the GTS more than any other rumor. The GTS is a $19k car by itself...adding a turbo, AWD, and higher CC engine would probably put it into Evo X GSR price ranges.

funny cuz other people have "confirmed" that the RA will be AWD turbo. plus there are numerous spy shots of a GTS styled car with FMIC so i call BS at this point. maybe a change in NAME from GTS to RA, but i have no doubts an AWD turbo lancer is coming out to battle the wrx.

also there have been recent reports of a 2.4L GTS with about 160ish hp and 160ish tq.

i bet all this could be a nomenclature problem.
