Looking to build a race inspired daily need help from experienced

Starting with Thunder Grey 04 RA de-badged minus RA logo on trunk, wanting to go dark on dark.

list of parts interested in and prices I can get them for
Ralliart style Mirrors (base price $229) like but hate to loose powered, anyone have these installed?

M3 Evo Mirrors by rexspeed (base price $219)

CF Evo8 hood (know of it's existence but cant find)

Eclipse AVN7000 HU ($799)

Enkei FN-18 17" gunmetal ($1200 W/ Proxes T1R's)

Stock red tail lights anybody know what happened 2 these from RRM (send me a link for purchase)

Project MU racing pedals ($35)

Body kits
I like the Evo9 kit but then I feel like an Evo poser so anyone know of any good kits I like the ACCOLADE Ralliart Extreme Edition Version 2 reminds me of an R-34 Skyline though there other kits remind me of a Hyundai Tiburon the Evo8 isn't bad but it looks stocky and walker kit seen to much on elder lancers

Engine
Fujitsu full CAI W/ T clamps and hose techniques couplings ($75)
Unsure on exhaust had the HKS N1 exhaust on GSX loved its deep sound but also had dual T4 turbo's so... does everyone do custom piping or what?
Other than that not wanting to turbo yet would kill me on insurance now so some ideas on drive train, short shifter kits, bushings, and the fine details as struts would be great on what works and what you can't even tell the difference.

Thanks.

I pretty much have the highest coverage on all of my cars if anything happens it would be replaced the next day and I asked my insurance company how much it would be seeing how I've had to many tickets in my 2008 MX-5 Touring it would be quite pricey to replace all the stuff I want if anything happened. Plus I feel the worst is always around the corner living in a heavily drunk college town with a bunch of RETARDS who D&D :-(

Well I wouldn't claim the turbo system personally. It's only 4k.

As far as having a car parked in a place like that... you sure you want to do all these mods? Perhaps you should hold off... or find a way to secure the car?

Personally, I always go for performance over looks. I love enkei, so stay with enkeis, but maybe a cheaper wheel? If you're gonna do anything exterior, I'd do CF spoiler from RRM (RA Style), Wheels, and MAYBE hood. But I'd turbo it before I did any of that. That's just me. I'd prefer to have a stock looking sneaker car any day, than a car with all looks and no bite.

Car is protected small two car garage + dinky garage for mx-5 gets the job done I'm trying to balance it between looks and performance. Body kit I've tossed the idea thus far, hood would kill for the Evo8 hood, cause I've found a vent that increases flow to the CAI with the help of a raised lip and pipe that directs to the filter from

protected pics or I'd post I can get it for $80 elsewhere color matched for $100
Unless you know of good turbo's I'm still set on 4G63 from my OLD p.o.s GSX dual T4's so help in that area would be great.

What on earth do you mean lose power?

If you're getting the T1-Rs, then from experience, they're an awesome tyre. Very grippy both in the dry and in the wet and I get two thumbs up for this Toyo!

Private message ROCK via messages. If not, goto ebay and search, they usually have them there. If not, I think you can get them off an ES lancer.

If you're talking about the cat-back, then yes, most of us do custom piping. If you're going to ask about size, there are some helpful threads about this. Alternatively, you can get the RRM already made cat-back exhaust.

Basically you have two sites:

http://www.roadracemotorsports.com - American
http://www.rpw.com.au - Australian

The loosing power was loosing my powered mirrors for the manual Ralliart style, not the tires man.

They're no longer in the RA section, but very much in the 02-06 section!

Thanks for the quick link, I'm still debating between my stock RA or the CF but does anyone know of a legit place besides ebay that are selling the red tails or even if previous lancer model tails fit.

yeah you can get stock tail lights either frorm the dealership, or someone on here who is selling them used.

personally i try to go about 65% performance and 35% looks with my ralliart budget.

go to RRM and there are a bunch of bolt-ons you can do that are a heck of alot cheaper than a cf hood. (sri, UD pulley kit, rear strut bar, etc)

my $.02

Makes the car go faster, which makes your street racing skills go up, which makes you a threat to yourself and other people on the road = insurance GOES UP!
