UDP and tensioner issues

ok long story short. my serpentine belt keeps slipping and losing 1/5th of the belt. the car is running with 4/5th of the belt intact and has been ruinning like so for several months without any issues other than continually losing that potion of the belt when replaced.

my dealership is telling me they are not going to warranty repair the tensioner due to my UDP. The issue i have with this is the UDP and the belt i have, HAVE NOT caused this issue. Since the belt i have is the size made for my UDP the tensioner should not have been affected at all from my UDP. my dealership installed my UDP for me and im pretty sure one of there mechanics damaged the tensioner. But now im stuck between a rock and a hard place because im gonna be stuck footing the bill for a new tensioner when it was the dealerships mistake. and just for some background info i have only taken my car to my dealership for EVERYTHING.

any suggestions

sucks! but thats the price we all pay for modding., just have it changed by a good auto shop.
money for mods = money for repaires

the tensioner is very easy to replace. Anyone can do it. There is 2 bolts both 12mm if i remember right. Make sure to loosen belt first which takes the end of a 1/2" ratchet or braker bar. Very easy.
