something kinda weird/ shifter&pedals

ok i might be a bit paranoid but latley i've been wondering if my manual 05 ra actually HAS the short throw shifter from the evo like its supposed to. i drove an evo once but can't remember how it shifted now...my ra seems to move about 2" from neutral into each gear..is that right? seems short but is it supposed to move only 1/2" or something?..i drove an s2000 and its shifter moved like 2 millimeters..it was cool..also, mine didn't come with alum' pedals either, just plain black ones..anyone have this problem?....just curious

The "short" shifter that comes with the Evo/Ralliart isn't really that short. All Ralliarts have it, without exception. Aluminum pedal covers are an optional part, not stock. Also, I severely doubt that any shifter out there only travels 2mm.

cool..that makes me feel better...the '2mm' part was a slight exaggeration...but it was shorter than my ra...guess i'll see about ordering pedals

The pedals are alright.. in the winter/rain they slick over like the stock ones. I took the aluminum Ralliart brand pedals and put grip tape (yes from skateboards cost me like 2$ for a full sheet at a skate shop) on them. Granted I have to apply new grip tape every year, it works out better for me that way.
