i dont understand why you would use that exhaust/muffler, isnt there a really bad bend by the muffler? youwant your exhaust to be straight as possible, putting that bend there is just stupid.... but maybe im wrong?

that is a setup i regretted doing it didnt last long on the car maybe a week, the reason i did it that way was because i chose looks over performance, i did it wrong, although they were mandrel bends i stand by the opinion it sucked

Hi , would you let me know how it went? I am really intrested cause i'm planning on buying a stock Evo exhaust system (the whole thing, downpipe, intermediate pipe and muffler) I have also been told that with the evo downpipe you can have someone fabricate a 4-1 header welding from the flange down.

lol
sell the damned muffler...
you are wasting your time and effort.

that bend will reduce horsepower,
it will look like a pumpkin launcher on the back of your car...
and you might ruin a perfectly good muffler you could sell
to someone in the forum that might need it.
(not like evo owners are hard up for cash or anything...)

This is just my opinion, but im just trying to give you the best advice to my knowledge.
