Cool sun roof

hey guys im a NOOB here but been reading for a while now. something carzy about my sunroof when its hot or sunny the thing open's fine but at night when its cold i try to open it and it lowers but just dont want to open, can any body help me?

I had a similar problem but it wasn't weather related.....It wouldn't want to open. I took it to the dealer and they said the screws used on the sliding edges had loosened and were getting caught and preventing the sunroof from retracting completely.. all they had to do was tighten them down and I was good to go...free of charge...

When it got REALLY cold outside my RA's sunroof wouldnt open at all. And once it opened but didnt close until I messed around with the switch for like half an hour. I have no idea if it was frozen open/closed, or if condensation building up on the relays from the temperature difference between inside/outside the car made it act a little wonky. At any rate I miss the sunroof... But I don't miss the sunroof.

i had the same thing happen today...except it wouldnt close...im pretty sure the drive gear (etc...not really sure) are broken and i had to close it by hand and pull the fuse

miss my sunroof

lolz i got that on cold weather too... With two or three tries I could close it again... dunno it hasn't done it since... weird... maybe the screws... check them out!!

mine does it too when the car hasnt been stared for awhile but once it warms up then it opens just fine, weird huh!
