Radiator Hoses RA and EVO

Ok gentalmen and ladies, Before I get flamed here about the search button, I use it a lot. I am in IRAQ right now sooooo I dont always have time to use this button here or I would. I just spent 3 hours this morning looking and found conformation on rods that will fit our car. Soooo yea I do use the search button.

I need to know if the radiator hoses for our RA's are the same as on the EVO's. Are they interchangeable ect. A quick yes or no will do since I want to order some for my car and there is a vendor here and he cant get an answer from his supplier. Thanks everyone and anyone who can HELP!!!!

Top hose is different. Not sure about the bottom hose. On Saturday, there will be an evo or two at my house, I can take a closer look then to see how far off they are and if it can be made to work. Or, when I get home today, I'll search for some pictures.

Thanks Otter, no biggy just thought since the evo and RA are sooo close in engine compartment layout that they may be the same also. Let me know what you find out. I was wanting to get a set of blue hoses for the RA but dont know where to get them.

The upper hose is closer than I thought. Could probably cut an Evo hose to fit.

Otter,
Thanks for the pic. I dont know if the upper hose will work. Looks like I may have to almost straighten it out or cut it in half and splice it together lol. Looks like it is to long left to right and front to back. Then again might be the picture with the left to right. I think I will just wait till I get back and see what I can find, maybe there is a hose that will work better of another car that I can cross fit. Thanks again.

the best thing seriously you can do is take your radiator hose and compare it to others at an auto part store and then you can possibly order aftermarket for whatever vehicle that is closest to the RA

I was going to order the items before I got home lol sooooo its just like christmas and put the whole car together when I go home. I guess I could see if I cant get the part number and research it that way on the net.

I took a closer look at the rad hoses on a couple Evos yesterday. I do think that Evo ones can be made to fit. For the upper hose, theirs is longer than ours by about 3", so you could just line it up and trim it and it should work fine, as long as it doesn't kink due to being bent a bit different.

As for the lower hose, it's hard to get a clear view of it, due to all the charge piping in the way, but theirs follows the same path, and appears longer than ours, so again, I think it can be trimmed to fit.

Otter,
Thanks a bunch, I will think about it and decide on what to do. Then again I may just wait till I get home and see what I can do since I will have the motor out anyways. Then I could possibly compare them and get a better look. Then if it will work just order them lol. I would hate for them to sit with my car for a year and not get used just to not work lol and spend 85 dollars on 2 hoses .
