Air Conditioner Inquiry

Just wondering how well the a/c is working in the heat for you guys..
I'm thinking I might need a recharge.. In, say, 30 degree weather, I need the blower set to high and the re-circulate on in order for the car to stay a nice cool in city traffic.

The concept of a recharge is BS. Air conditionings are sealed systems, if it's not cold, then you have a leak.

The only way to tell would be to test and see if it's holding pressure with an a/c manifold gauge.

I haven't had AC since 2005... I have a leak behind the dash somewhere and am too lazy to fix it. Living in Boston, with previously having a black Ford taurus SHO that I stripped all the luxuries out of it and with black leather and limo tints.. You kinda get used to it. Now when I sit in a car with AC, i find that its too cold.

One of these days I'll fix the AC.. someday..

Don't bother, Mitsu charges an obscene amount of money for it. Take out the filter and cut out the filter material. Then go to your local hardware store and pick up a household furnace filter. Cut out a piece the size of the car filter and wedge it in there. Cheaper and better filtration.

after installing the UDP I noticed mine didn't really blow cold at idle, but I expected that.
