Im looking for a axleback or catback exhaust and i was wondering if people went with something universal or ones specifically made for lancer. The only ones i know that were made for the 04-06 RA is the RRM catback and Virbrant catback..

If anyone else know more specifically for our RA lemme know!
Or any good suggestion if its universal?

or Post up what you have here and say if its universal or not

 

more specifically for our car than the RRM Catback... um.. honestly couldn't get much more specific than that, i mean its made for our cars... it fits and works perfectly.

There is no such thing as a universal catback exhaust... There are universal mufflers and resonators and well piping is universal but in order to mount all of it you have to get it custom fitted to your existing setup.

For a universal muffler setup you can get a magnaflow which is a popular brand amongst the Lancers... beyond that I don't know what else you expect for a response other than what people have had customize for their cars.

 

i custom built my cat back exhaust with a magnaflow muffler and 2/3"piping it sounds great and works great.

those who ahs RRM catback, i'm not 100% sure but i believe the lancers have a free flow cat ....
so did u need separately get high cat flow to aviod polic trouble?

EDIT: the RRM CATBACK is from magnaflow...wouldnt it be cheaper to get it off magnaflow?

 

magnaflow doesnt sell it, its a RRM exclusive...they built it using a magnaflow muffler...in my opinion id go custom, which is what i did, i baught the HKS carbon titanium universal muffler and took it to a very good muffler shop here in town and had them custom make a 2.5" catback w/o resinator...sounds awesome IMO, and it looks amazing...definatly strayed away from all of the RA owners...heres a pic of it...

 

I have a borla axleback and it sounds nice. I still need to get a video up and so do you heartagram.
