oil change coming up

im gonna do it myself...i plan on using royal purple...anyone know how good it is...i heard its one of the best and i only want the best for my car...i also need to know what kinf of oil our car needs, is it 5w or what...like i said thi is my first diy oil change i know it easybut i dont remember what oil touse, i use to just take it to the dealership but that got expencive so im doing it myself...

Royal Purple isn't anywhere near as good as you would think. Mobil 1 is a better oil. Use 5w-30.

look in the manual..i think its 5w-20 or 5w-30..you can use 10w-30/40 too..I use castrol synthetic 5w-20 ( as i remember)..changing it is more important then the brand i've always heard.. i change three times a year regardless of mileage..but you can go longer in todays cars..just change it reg and you'll be cool

pff.. I just use 5W30 mineral oil. Change every 6000 km's as recommended by mitsubishi.
