i need one of two answers for these questions.

first let me explain my predicament. the 06 ralliart steering wheel has a different Mitsu emblem on the horn. it is an aluminum insert. one day i was mad and punched it. it dented it. so i scrapped it instead of trying to fix the small dent.

heres what i need.

either..

someone to help me find, or sell me the insert (even the older ones from the 04s or whatev. not sure if it fits though) so i dont have to look at this ugly gap in my steering wheel.

or...

if anyone has experience with an aftermarket hub and wheel, id like to get a nice aftermarket steering wheel. buut im a little skepticle on the universals UNLESS someone here has experience and has one of them on their 06.


any help would be appreciated. and you will be rewarded for any attempts. :]

 

Just get an Evo steering wheel, you get an aftermarket company (momo) steering wheel and get to keep your airbag. Plus there are a ton of write ups on here on how to put it on.

Anger never pays off in the end just ask my WRX I backed into a tree at 90 mph. My insurance is a ***** and I cant even afford another turbo car. Your situation is minor but it still sucks cause you have to look at it everyday.

 

i heard that there is fitment problems with the evo steering wheel in the 06 RAs? correct me if im wrong

 

nope, just loose cruise control

 

The evo steering wheel won't work with the 2006 Ra. The column steering isn't the same for the 2004-5 and the 2006. You should check to fix yours or try an aftermarket one.
