squealing sound?

recently my car started to make a squealing sound when i went to make a turn after start up. soo i checked the power steering fluid reservoir and it was at the min line soo i thought it just needed some more fluid. i went a week with it like that because i didnt have time to go get some from the dealer. i finally put some in up to the max line and i thought it fixed the problem but its still squealing. it reminds me of those older cars you hear in parking lots squealing while theyre turning up and down the isles looking for a spot . anyone know what the problem is?

Replace your serp belt, it's slipping.

When you turn the wheel, the power steering pump starts working harder, which makes the pulley harder to turn. It's causing your belt to slip, thus, squeal.
