when i drive and i floor my car once im close to redline my cold air intake starts making a weird noise. like it goes from sucking air noise to loud almost shreaky noise. dnt know if u guys will understand wut im tryin to say haha. but any info on this will help thanks guys.

 

its normal..the tone changes once the mivec kicks in which is approx. 3600rpm and screams nearing redline at approx. 6400rpm. if you take off from a stop or near stop in 2nd gear and hold the pedal to the floor you can hear the change easily

 

yup its a wonderful sound! 100% normal.

 

+1...one of the reasons i stuck to the stock exhaust instead of getting an aftermarket...i and everyone that hears it loves it
