My car is stuck currently. My problem is I have no fuel going into the fuel rail from the Fuel pump. The Fuel pump is not running. Is there anyway I can check the fuel pump to see if it works?? I also do not have voltage coming from the plug that goes into the fuel pump. I check the fuses under the hood they all are good and under the dash. The lil black boxes under the hood for the engine are relays?? How would I check if those are working or not?? I also swapped them all out with each other they all say 12v. So I figured if one does not work swapping it out with another one would work but that did not work either. So I know its gotta be either the fuel pump that is bad or something in between that and the fuse. Could this have anything to do with the magneedle that puts juice to the spark plus?? Anyone with any other ideas on here or pics with descriptions?? Please get back to me ASAP!! I need my car because I use it a lot and travel a lot currently so I really need to try to get this solved right away. Thanks

 

I had this problem once, no fuel going to the rails. I brought it to the dealer and they said there was a wiring connection/harness near the base of the passengerside foot rest that came loose or was kicked loose. I don't know the exact problem since it was all under warranty... If I knew anymore I'd try to help but I don't know anymore about the problem, that's all they told me. Good luck.

remove the back seat, unplug the fuel pump, turn the car's ignition "on", then use a multimeter to see if there's power making it to the plug. If there is, time to replace the pump, if not, you've got an electrical issue further up the line.

 

I tested it with a test light with the ignition open... no juice... when I go to pick it up today I will test it with the meter. I do not think its the fuel pump though..but u never know. Like I also posted originally I checked the fuses as well.

 

well for all that want to know what the problem is..... It was a ECU issue something went bad on it. Does not looke burned anywhere or anything on it messed up but the scan guage wont even read it as well just says error no codes. Wont even read the ecu. For what bruce was talking about under the passenger side of the dash right behind the glove compartment is thats where the ECU is located.
