If that switch doesn't do anything and you want it to do something rather than sitting there or leaving a hole, I wired a switch in my car to disable the ABS for fun driving.

Just a suggestion

I actually have a switch sitting doing nothing too in my car. That's not a bad idea, but is it safe ? And how do you turn the ABS off ?

edit : I found out that removing the fuse will take out the ABS, but the idea of the switch is nice. Did you wire the ABS fuse with the switch ?

PM'd back and forth a few times

I guess I should make a how-to since I've had several ask me about it over the years. I won't do it till it gets warmer though.

well, i figured out that the switch belongs to the low and high beams on accident! my lights wouldnt turn on the other night, and after replacing some fuses, cursing the gods, driving to the dealership, and eating at sonic; i saw the switch had been turned off! So i turned it on and realized it controlled the beams when i saw them come back on in the reflective Sonic glass door! Thank god for Sonic! Thank you for all of your comments and suggestions!

Why the hell would someone do that? I'd have that changed back to the factory headlight controls.

See if your day time running light are on during the day when the switch is on it might just be so that the light wouldn't be on during the day but also check if your brake light work

maybe that switch lets you put high beams + fog lights all together... remember that when you turn on your high beams your foglights turn off.... could be it!
