Leaking Windshield Sprayer?
For some reason even if I don't spray my windshield to clean it, I find that there is windshield washer fluid on top of my hood and it tends to stain there until I clean it up. Does anyone know what could cause this? Its just annoying cause right after I get a car wash and I drive for a little bit I find windshield washer fluid on my hood without ever touching the button to release it. Usually happens after I'm on the highway or something.
This happens to me too... I'm not sure if its windshield washer fluid or just water trapped underneath the nozzle of the sprayer... I think it's a limitation due to design but i've never given it enough thought to try and find a fix for it.

It's just that it happens to me everytime I get home and right after I clean the car too.. it's just irritating to see a big blue spot of fluid on the hood slowly moving toward the side...
The stock windshield sprayers suck and corrode over time. Wouldn't surprise me if they're leaking or spraying your hood instead of your windshield. Tear them out and replace them with the nozzles from a Galant (same year as your car.) The Galant ones are all plastic and have a better spray pattern. Shouldn't cost you more than $20 and 10 minutes of your time.

it's in the Evo forum somewhere...I had it in my subscriptions
There's no topic that I've found for the RA, only for the Evo. And it's not the same procedure for the Evo and for the RA. But it's a direct replacement so it's pretty easy. If I was able to do it, everyone will !!

C'mon people you don't need a how-to, it's not rocket science. Remove old nozzles, install new ones. Very easy. As for buying them, either www.mitsubishiparts.net or your local dealer.
