I have a question (kinda stupid)

Ok, this week I am going to put in my guages for my car on the left side pillar. I was just wondering if anybody knows how to take the pillar off without wrecking anything? Is there a special way, or should I get some professional to take it out? Thanks.

It just snaps in. Start at the top and pull it out. It'll come out pretty easily.

You can also get a trim removal tool but as others have said it just pops out and you can pop it back in with some gentle fist action. Side of the fist I mean. Does that sound sexual? Anyway... back to my ECU work...

Just pull it off slowly, when you feel a point where its snagged give it a tug until it comes loose. I don't try to pry it off and don't pull on it from the top section if you're trying to pop a tab off the lower portion of the a-pillar, it'll bend. I pulled mines off all the time when I painted my pillars.

the Oil pressure sensor is under the intake manifold twords the center, Depending on how u want to doit , i jsut took out my stock one and replaced it with the sender for the guage and its the " same " size and will screw into it , be sure to use teflon tape so it doesnt leak , I know there is some talk about it being a certain thred and im sure someone will say somthign but mine works and the original threds are still perfect, also i used a Autometer Guage if u wer gonna ask, the other way would be to make a "T" system with some brass parts, so you can still plug in the OEM oil sensor but im not finding any problems with out it. hope that helps

Krylon Fusion Paint from Auto parts store works great its for plastic just sand it a bit with some not very rough sandpaper and clean it good and spray them , add a clear if u want to . let it dry good b4 u put them back in to avoid install scraching
