so bi beam huh? well with HIDs wouldnt that defeat the purpose of the high beams? i mean correct me if im wrong, but it seems like with HIDs there bright enough already. right? soo 6000k is a good choice? what about the option of 35w to 55w? i seriously have no experience with lighting as you can tell. haha. TIA

High beam has more to do with beam height than brightness (hence high beam). If you have your beams set as high as the high beams all the time, you're gonna get high-beam flashed by oncoming traffic all the time and possibly get some unwelcome attention from the law.

I don't know anything about the wattage question but the 6000k is the kelvin color temperature. Which temp is "better" is a matter of opinion. Some people go for looks at the expense of practicality (more colorful, less bright), and some are more practical. 4300k is the temp of daylight. If I remember right 6000k would be a nice light blue that's a happy medium between practical and pretty.

if you're using stock headlight housing, then get bi-xenon HIDs

back from the dead....

ok im bring this back from the dead thread zone cause im actually about to buy some projectors and a HID kit here really soon, i was going off the advice people were giving me when i first posted this thread, about getting the bi-xenon hid kit so i will have highs and lows. but theres two different kinds of kits on this website(H4-H13), both bi-xenon, and when it comes to this kind of subject, i dont have a clue whats going on. lol so please bare with me when explaining whats what. thanks guys. ill figure this all out soon, just dont want to buy the wrong set and be angry and shout bad lanuage.

the projectors the high and low beams are separate bulbs... you'll only need single beam HIDs when getting the projectors off ebay
