Sigh......

Happened today at 17:30 on my way home from work heading east on Yellowhead Trail, just before the St. Albert Trail exit.
Going to North Side Mitsu tomorrow to bring it in and get a rental.
Havent talked to the adjuster yet, but they should call me within 24 hours.

5 mph bumpers FTW. Everything other than your bumper looks straight, should be an easy fix.

probably more than the bumper. for my accident it didnt look bad at all but it turns out that the bumper and everything behind it had to be replaced. was like 3g's to get everything fixed as well as the tailights cause the grommets broke. thank goodness for insurance

far as i can tell:

-bumper
-trunk hinges are screwed. looks like a rivet or two popped
-muffler.... not sure.. but have a feeling. sounds fine though.
-left tail light is lose. mount must of went.
-the space that holds the spare tire, the rear most part of the body is squished in slightely and is now propably holding the spare in place (it's definitely pushing on it)
-the alignment seems off. I really hope im just imagining it, cause I dont want a control arm to be bent)

that's about it i think.

well think of it this way. its not your fault so insurance should cover the whole thing and you'll get a shiny new bumper just in case you had alot of scratches back there =]

but on the other hand you'll be out of your beloved RA for a while

Scheiße! I'm glad you are okay. I hope your chassis is alright too, but bent spare tire well... hopefully its no big deal and all can be fixed. keep me updated on what happens
