Im not sure if its true but I think the MiVEC in automatics doesn't kick in as early as on manual, but maybe thats just misinformation.

Drag racing an automatic sort of takes half the fun out of it though.

U can upgrade ur torque converter though. There a quick auto lancers out there so dont feel too bad.

 

any of you lancer boys have any videos of you running these 12's and 13's. Im not trying to hate, but some of these mph times dont add up to the 1/4 mile times that are being posted. Not calling you guys liars by any means, just curious.

 

rrd you can make your car a little faster with the piggyback *hint hint* lol

stock internals. It isn't hard. I do alot of my own machining and modifing. I also currently do not have any videos of my runs. The MPH matchs fine considering i average 1.6 60' times. Just wait until i get my turbo engine in my car. LSD nows alittle about it. Should turns some great times.

Just so ya know SSP I sold my Ralliart but still check in on this website every once in a while mainly to check up on your car. Keep up the work man. LSDs turbo build also. I'm sure he will end up reading this.

 

SSP ur car is impressive 12s all NA major props that's about 3 sec off stock. U will definately been in the 11s once boosted.

 

The reason why I have a high MPH and such a crappy time, is because my 60 foot time was something like 2.2 Really sad lol. I burnt rubber from 1st past 2nd gear. to much tourque. but yea if i learn to launch the car better, i should see a lower ET. i need new tires. thats on the list.

 

Yea. expect to see some big things from SS Performance for the Ralliart.

and Damn man 1.6 60' times. either i need practice, or need new tires. I know they are bald, but my best 60' was 2.2 and that was with an LSD lol.

thanks for following the build. I'm really putting so much work and money into it. picked up a 2nd job so i can get it done on time. its starting to click together smoothly now. post up on my thread from time to time when you read it. I'd love the bump, and i'm trying to get the most recongnition so i can get it in super street or import tuner. EVERY magazine has 400whp evo's in every issue... you never see a 600whp ralliart in there ... again thanks for following the build...
