Ok well I do what everybody says and research but came up with nothing. So what Im looking for is someone with a video or soundclip of the Ultimate Racing exhaust on a 04-06 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. Can somebody help me out please.

 

I have seen one before, either on ultimateracing website or on youtube, this exhaust sounds good and I will be buying one.

 

I've found it before but lost it . I know thats its of someone comparing the sounds of a UR exhaust and a RRM magnaflow one doing fly-bys. I think it was someone from Canada.

If I remember correctly, is the UR exhaust diameter 2.5"? I think Rock from RRM doesn't recommend anything bigger than 2.25".

Now I could be completely wrong, so could someone correct me if I am? I'll be getting an exhaust this summer and need to decide between the RRM one and the UR one.

 

2.25 is recommended for NA guys. There are a bunch who have done 2.5 but you will lose some back pressure.

 

If you are going N/A or with RRM's turbo kit, you shouldn't really go over 2.25. Neither an N/A engine or RRM's kit produces enough power for you to need a wider diameter exhaust. What Rock told you is the same thing he told me. If you have turbo and are running higher boost than RRM's kit and producing well over 250whp then a 2.5 exhaust becomes necessary. However, I've read several threads on this forum of guys who bought the UR exhaust, whether N/A or turbo, and have had zero complaints about anything like too much or too little back pressure.

 

Well if someone can find a video or sound clip that would be great because I want to hear what it sounds like. Now I have another question........ I saw someone with a 06 Lancer Ralliart that has a Greddy Ti-C exhaust but when I look it up Greddy only makes it for the 02-03 Lancer so Im a little confused as in will it fit or do you have to modify because its a good sounding exhaust. Still looking on that Ultimate Racing exhaust but havent found anything................Does anybody like the Megan Racing exhaust.
