who cares about how the Focus SVT drives, it is still and ugly *** focus!!! And the road tests show the ralliart being better the the focus, but only a little. The Sentra is a nice car, The SRT-4 was ok, but its still a NEON, with REAL narrow seats. If you are over 200 lbs (as I am 265) you probably wont fit in the car very well. I LOVE MY CAR and wouldnt have gone any other way. One last thing, AWD on the GTI will change that "light" curb weight.

Of course you can turbo Charge an RA, if you look at the import scene look how many single cam vtech hondas are turbo'd, a ton. Its possible but I would wait untill maybe greddy or hks comes out with a bolt on kit cause you know it'll happen eventually. And the SVT focus and SE-R are garbage. The SRT-4 is an awesome car and is better for the buck then an evo. (SORRY) Buy a ralliart they are by far the most unique car around right now

I know you were expecting this, but i disagree that the srt 4 is more for the buck than the evo. The evo has so much more going on other than raw horsepower. The SRT 4 is nice, but the EVO is on another level. Back to the topic though- it shouldn't be hard to turbo a ralliart, i know one of our guys already did in PR. Also the 4g69 is very similar to the 4g64/4g63, so the turbo manifold from an eclipse should work. I may be wrong, but it definitely fit on my 4g64 eclipse.

I have a Ralliart.... but I test drove the Neon SRT first.....because I was considering it. It was nice .... but it's too expensive for a modified Chrysler in my opinion. The handling is really good.....it's fast with 15 psi.... but it didn't push me back into the seat the way I thought....because they clain it's a 5.4 second to 60mph car. In my opinion the Ralliart way the more problem free....and better overall choice....especially because of price. never test drove the Saturn Redline...... The Ralliart can withstand....at least 14pounds of boost it seems...... Turbo Tech has already done it.

but the blocks and pistons are the same, right? So when they do develop a turbo for the Ralliart, it can withstand it quite well, right?

Yeah the new GTI you heard about isnt a GTI, its called the R32. Same body but totally different animal. 241 HP 236 Ft Lbs of torquw, all wheel drive, curb weight 3256 lbs. Its a beast. Word on the street is that the SVT is DOA, fords gonna pull the plug.

And hey Driver11421, the 4G69 is nothing like the 4G63

Go kick a Saturn & tell me Saturn's are innovative.
You might want to consider the Cooper S.

all in all, i give a big THANK YOU to mitsubishi for listening to us on our suggestions for the new lancer. here's the best of what we got:

1. mivec engine
2. 4 wheel disc with abs and ebd
3. better suspension
4. tuned exhaust (sounds GREAT)
5. gta seats
6. projector fog lamps
7. evo short shifter

RRM has a lsd for the for the fwd this is just as adequate and the torgue added is a great bonus

regular GTI isn't AWD and for sure doesn't have a simple switch that makes it AWD

I have seen the R32 it is part time AWD only kicks in when the back breaks loose... the rest of the time its just FWD.. true it does have a decent amount of power but not as much as the STi or Evo and the thing still costs 33k (the one I looked at) way too much for a VW if you ask me... the quarter mile times and other racing specs on this car are about the same as the regular WRX or the SRT-4 which are both 10-13 grand less than the one I looked at
