Ok so since I know it was time for the Valve lash adjustment, I decided to take it to the local mitsubishi dealership to get done. Would've done it myself, but internal engine scares me haha. But I thought when it gets done, the ticking is suppose to get quiet? It doesn't seem to have gotten quiet, neither louder. Well when I got home and up the hill...it almost stalled when I put it in nuetral and pulled the e-brake. I left it sit for a minute and it kept wanting to stall, it would also seem to shake a little too

Is this due to the stealership? Did they not do the valve lash right?

 

Did you reset the ecu? If not try it it's possible that when they did the work it affected a sensor in one way or another. Check the motor area for anything out of place. I had to tell Mitsubishi to find some bolts that they didn't reinstall when they did some tranny work years ago. They had forgotten 3 bolts total on the bell housing WTF , I was pissed ... Months later that stealership turned into a Volkswagen dealer , figures.
