Problems w/ Headunit after MINI BATTERY!

Ever since I installed my mini battery, my headunit hasn't been able to read SD cards, USB drives, or even CDs for that matter. I just use auxilary for now.

Any one else have that problem?

Or have any ideas on how to fix the problem?

Seems like this would be a question for the headunit manufacturer.

Hmm. did i ground it properly? That's a good question. It stays on when I shut off the car. I have to manually shut it off.

That doesn't sound like a proper install. That could be what led to the unit being pooched.

By itself, there's no way changing the car battery would cause this.

I didn't think so, but it only started happening after the battery install. I've had the headunit like this for the life of the car. I installed it correctly to the harness. I'm not new to automotive electrical. Buut for some reason it doesn't seem right. It is a cheap headunit, but I know that would have nothing to do with it staying on after the car is off. Hmm. I'll go in there and double check and clean everything out.

I talked to the manufacturer they said to check all the wires and then disconnect the battery for a whole 40 minutes to do a reset. lol thats quite a while. but i'll do that sometime this week.

Sounds like you have a problem with your switch/constant power wire.

They're cute and little and all the girls say "awww, what a cute little battery" and then you get their phone number, hook up for a date, maybe get you some booty......

Or it could be the lightweight thing...

Anyone else got an answer??
