Finally getting my Timing Belt changed

I should be picking my RA up sometime tonight before 7. Is there anything that may be different with the drive, such as a smoother ride, etc.? Just curious.
Thanks in advance

Nope. Should just just the same. But with the added benefit of a running motor thats good for another 60k. Get saving for the next one lol.

I got my car back awhile ago, and upon arrival, I popped the hood and saw a new drive belt! I got really excited! I started my car, and it sounded so much more smoother and gentle than before. No rocking or vibrations, and I really feel like my ra is a smoother ride than previously. Maybe it's all mental, but it's a good feeling. That and assurance/reliability

I'm lucky enough to have a mechanic for a neighbor. He changed both of my timing belts. There are two. Plus he changed the oil and filter. Cost $270 including parts. By the way, I just made my last payment for my RA (70 payments with a little extra instead of 72), it just passed CA smog test and got a compliment from the tester for throttle response, and I'm happily going to keep it for the foreseeable future. I mean, what could you get with four doors that could be more fun and practical for about $7000-9000? It is 100% stock 5 speed sun and sound package 2004 model, by the way.

Congrats. I still remember making my last payment. I paid mine off early, too. Took about 16 months off my 60 month loan by paying extra when I could. Sometimes it was all I could do to scrape up the regular payment, but other times I'd send in $1000. I ended up getting a refund check for like $0.90 from the bank, because the payment went through before they would have calculated the interest for that day.
