2.5 and you are not running a turbo.....
Go with a 2.25 magnaglow unless you can find a 2.25 borla.

i have a borla muffler welding onto a 2.5 inch catback. only go 2.5 inch if you plan on going above 250 whp and tourque. otherwise 2.25 is good enough. going with a wide diameter will help open horsepower in high rpms, but you will loose low end tourque. And if you dont have enough airflow to begin with (hp) than your better off with 2.25

I have a few videos of my car on youtube so you can check out what the exhaust sounds like. i had a link but the moderaters made me take it down. LOL search on youtube, you'll find me.

I have a vid as well with my magnaflow axleback , stock headers, rrm downpipe. I'll add an updated one soon I now have a 22" magnaflow resonator added to that combination.

Ps my vid the car is parked so it shouldn't be a problem either..

Thank I'll try to find it. Found one of a RA doing donuts on trays but its all engine and squeel. If I had the funding right now I'd be Turbo or s/c already but I figured I got to start somewhere. I went with 2.5 on my old car and defense felt the loss in the low end. Thanks for the heads up! Might havebto wait for the 2.5 till that time!

for a 2010 ralliart. yes 2.5 would be good. but he is talking about the first gen ralliart. 2.25 for non turbo should be fine.

Yea dont go 2.5, I had custom 2.5 on mine and felt loss. But i swapped to 2.25 and regained the low end. Id suggest just buying the muffler and then having the pipe custom at a shop. Cost me in total for my exhause about 150, muffler included.

Thanks for the heads up. What muffler did you put on? I priced a local shop at 250@2.5" w magnaflow.

I had a magnaflow muffler originally. While I liked the sound it got messed up during a tow and the chrome tip ended up turning to ugly garbage after awhile. So I tossed on a wicked flow muffler the shop had just got, and honestly It was louder and sounded better than the original magnaflow.

Yea the magnaflow is pretty proven and I like the YouTube vid sounds. After my last cars exhuast I don't want something super loud...long trips suck! I like the rumble from the magnaflow and borla ill look into buying the muffler though.

If I were to go f/I would 2.25 be to restrictive? It be a def upgrade if/when I do
