If insurance claims it as a total loss your friend will have to buy it back to part it out. At that point it might not be worth it. Its a lot more work to part out the car than you think. If you can't part it out try to see if the insurance company will let you swap aftermarket parts off the car, my insurance company let me pull parts off my first evo as long as I replaced it with something else. Lets just say it was the first evo with a cassette player...

that sucks bro, sorry about that, he did just have his wisdom teeth pulled, must have been out from the meds, im even having a hard time getting him on the phone. it will still be there if you still need it or anything else though. ill make sure he kept up with status of parts and what not. again sorry for that bro.
