Thats a suprisingly affordable price for racing seats. Do you have all the parts needed to mount them as you must know you cant attach them at the tracks of oem.

Do the harnesses need to be attached to the back seats or is there a way to set it up to still have the back seats functional?

Also, I thought there were tracks on the site, but I can't seem to find them

So I emailed Hyper Auto Parts about the seats and they said

"All our seats are universal, they have been tested in our body shop and they will fit the 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer without any problems. The seats all come with the universal sliders which mount on to the existing brackets in your vehicle.
You might have to drill 4 new holes into your brackets for them to fit but it's not hard to install them with the hardware you already have. "

and shipping is 149 to Canada. So I'm jsut wondering about seatbelts. I haven't had seats like this before, and like i said, the 4 point harnesses seem to be attached to the back seats, which I don't want.

So anyone know other seatbelt options or would stock belts be the only option let people still sit in the back seat?

 

I'm curious about what brackets these guys are talking about that the sliders are supposed to bolt to, because once you unbolt the seat there is nothing but 4 holes in the floorboard.

As for the seat belt options , you could get a harness bar and a set harnesses although this does take some room from the backseat , I love the style.

 

Yeah, you can see the 4 bolt holes on the slider. It says universal so I wonder if they can slide to become shorter or longer. I dunno....I'd be really interested, but I wanna make sure they fit first.

 

oh sorry, i havent been following this thread. yeah for some reason when i ordered them they called me back and said that they could not place my order and that they could not ship to me? it was really weird! so i wasnt able to get them. sorry guys im going to try back later maybe. the way they acted was kinda weird? has anyone else placed a order yet?
