Trunk cutouts
So the guy previous owner of the car had an amp and stuff installed i guess and this is what the trunk looks like. I was thinking of filling the holes with styrofoam, covering it in duct tape and recarpeting it, or trying to get a thin plywood cutout to lay overtop and recarpet it. That would be a little tougher since i live in an apartment and would have to wait a bit to get access to tools and work area. Any suggestions on what to do to make it look normal? And what would be a good material to cover it with? I was hopin I could pick up something from the fabric dept. at wal-mart or something for not too much money.

I'd just that whole piece out, get some plywood cut a 36"x36" square piece pit it in. Go to walmart and get some of the car interior carpet and spray adhesive. Put it on , little bit of cutting to fit the carpeting, done. 36"x36" is exact I have put 3 different set ups in my trunk and it's a perfect size to cover the main hole.
