hey guys, i was wondering if anyone else has problems with interior lighting and parking lights. The right side parking lights front and back dont work. Also my HVAC lights in my dash do not work. My dome light works sometimes but hasnt for a while now. so i dont know what the problem is. any help?

 

Start with the fuses, then checkout the connections.

 

haha. my cruise control light doesnt come on any more (never use it anyway)

and the light behind my gear selector only works half the time.

 

i tried my fuses and they all look good. my dome light is stupid though. if i go to pry off the lens, the f-in light comes on! so i put the lens back on and it works for a day or too and then stops. but now it dont work even if i pry the lens off. the bulb looks fine too. so idk. and by connections, are you talking about where the bulbs plug in or the wires somewhere?

 

hmm..... the parking lights on my car shut off automatically within 2 or 3 seconds after i pull the key from the ignition and open the door.

 

my parking lights are fine but my dome light doesn't come on unless I manually switch it on. Not when i open the door or anything. Is this normal?

 

Check the switch in the door jam, if it's operating correctly. Maybe it's stuck closed.

 

Mine goes off a couple weeks ago, 3years no-stop on, I thinks it's death!! :P

 

okay. so no problems for 3 yrs then it goes off last week?
that sucks subies.
and mine just wont come on when i turn on my lights after starting the car, but sometimes it will. meh.

 

hmmm, the only thing ive ever experienced is that the ashtray light exploded. literally into pieces not sure what happened there, fuse or something didnt work and let too many amps through.

anyways, try checking your wiring, maybe theres a chuck of insulator peeled off somewhere and its grounding your lights out.
