Is this a real Double Din?

I thought there wasn't one that fit our cars since orbital stopped. This looks like it fits....anyone familiar with this?

well the interior of evos and lancers is pretty much the same from 2002 to 2006 i would think it fits, i don't know about jdm though, probably similar as well, just backwards obviously, but the center looks the same

Have you been living under a rock? Or just don't read/search much?

It will work. I just purchased one earlier today but hundreds of other people have bought it and use it.

Actually I do read and search a lot. I had seen a number of threads about orbital or people who talk about producing a kit, but never end up doing it. So thanks for the confirmation, and for not being a dick about it :S

I actually found that link from a lancer thread, but I wouldn't sure if it applied to the ralliart. That's why I posted it in the RA section.

Raliart is still a lancer...

I just did a quick search and came up with 5 different threads that all talk about the same part. Weird....

Anyways it's 69.92 USD shipped. Not a bad deal, a few
Months ago it was only like 32$ and 45-50 total shipped. Shoulda got it back then but it's not to bad now. Prolly should get it soon so it doesn't go up anymore

The only "retail" part for the HVAC reloc was the Orbital but since they are out off business you have to do it the hard way!!

I think I saw an How-to here on how to make it clean but don't remember where exactly!!

I just finished up doing the relocation myself, not bad for the first time really doing that much cutting with a dremmel

I bought the Double Din in Glass black from this forum, I think that person bought it from JapanParts

the one difference with the one Orbital sold was it had a bit of an overhang at the top, which was good for shielding from the sun
