DIY Lip

Just wanted to show you guys I did it tonight. About 20 bucks total. Did it about 10pm in -4 degree weather (celcuis) so the tape was brittle and I didn't even know f it would hold lol. Held on during my drive home at speeds up to 60kph. Photo's ****ty, but it's dark and was taken with my iphone.

I tried that double sided mounting tape, but it kept coming loose for some reason? so i just went and bought some small screws and washers and screwed it on.

yeah...I have my winter tires on my stock rims which are pretty beat up. Was gonna get some rims for summer but saw this ad and they're super cheap and in good shape. So this way I'll have two set of rims, one with winter, one with summer tires so i can just swap them out myself.

I'm getting them for 240. Everything's more expensive in Canada

It'd be nice to get a different set for summer but it's gonna save me hundreds of dollars getting these, so i'm cool with that. I could always paint them black or something

you should just powder coat your summer set since they will last a bit longer without the road salt and everything getting all over them. that way you feel like you have a bit of a different feel with the seaons. getting ready to do my wheels over christmas

Did you clean the area and then use some adhesion promoter/activator? Cause that stuff makes sure it'll be hard to remove by hand let alone blow off on the highway ha
