i want evo x seats, can't justify spending $1000+ on them though

 

yeaa, just the ones from the older like evo 8 and 9 bolt right up in my car lol

 

Hey guys, I bought some other parts before deciding to get seats. I was looking at getting them now, without the airbag plug plugged in, will this effect the rest of the srs system like the steering wheel air bag and could I just get the code cleared and still have the rest of the system working properly? Thanks.

 

From what I'm gathering , you will still have use of the other airbags. I'm sure you could get the light/code cleared but would most likely appear again. Just tell your nosey passagers that the light on means it's working lol.

 

haha I dont care if my passengers see the light, I just didn't know if the light was on, would that throw off the steering wheel and dash airbags. I'm not too worried about side airbags, but I'd like to have use of the front air bags. Thanks for your help lanzer, anyone else know more about how it all works in the 06 with the evo 8 recaros?

 

I love the 06 RA seats. The 04 and 05 seats I could care less for.

 

what about the evo 9 seats??? i had to modified them...

 

whats the difference between the 04-05 seats and the 06 seats???

 

yea the 04/05's had different seats than the 06's I'll take a picture later to show you what the 06's look like if you want.

 

The fabric and design on the seat are different.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay, I tried different angles of my car in storage, but it was too dark lol, so... I googled around and found the 06 seats.

Guess it depends on personal preference. I like the 06 seats much better with a Black RA.
