Yeah I've talked to him about getting the software. When the beta testers give him feedback and he does the final tweeks it's customized tune time us ralliart owners and better yet free at cost for those of us already with the reflash I can't wait...

Props be to micheal

I am very interested in the ecu reflash, but really wanted the software along with it. This is very promising. I'll let the Beta guys find the bugs and patiently wait for the finished product.

You should go on and buy it before the software comes out otherwise it will be more expensive once the software is out. You will
still benefit from the reflash without the software, just yet.

Yup, I'm aware of a price increase when the software is released. I just can't see spending $400 for a reflash and not be able to modify the xml afterwards if I modify the car more. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the reflash is top notch based on my discussions with lanzer and hack. Also I'm sure they are working on a good software program, however, I used to develop software for a living and I know the trials and tribulations of creating solid software. Now I just manage the developers

The other side is that I can't have my DD down for a couple of weeks waiting for the reflash since not all RA ECUs are created equal. I was suppose to get my ECU number and send it to Hack to see if they have one that will work in my car, but winter came here quick. Way too cold to be digging in the car to get the ECU number. When summer comes, I'll be able to have this car down since I have the Bug to drive.

Either way, I'm still very interested in the reflash, it's just a matter of how much I have to spend to get it.

Getting to the ecu isn't much harder than getting to the gas cap. As for the price , like I said before it will be more later , but do as you will. Hack can do a core charge of your worried about having the vat down. That's what I did , my var wasn't down anylonher than it would take to wash my car...
