The 3rd post looks like that ebay lip you are buying. Not sure if you've seen this but yeah, the guy that posted it is from Asia. Eventhough the front bumper is different but yeah... you can see what it looks like now

 

wow....good job! I like to think I'm pretty good at searching and I'm sure i've been through every page in the show and shine! made me a little more excited to get it on

 

i think however that the asia bumper is shorter than ours so not sure if that type of lip would work

 

i like their fronts more than ours

Need to get rid of your crashbar I believe then. Maybe some other mods as well?

 

Really? I can't decide if I like that grille, but i'm not a fan of those fogs.

 

i like how its much shorter. id drop the crash bar. less weight

 

I wouldn't loose the crash bar , it's only like 30 pounds and you will loose your car in a head on collision :/

 

so I picked up the lip. no instructions but it doesn't look like it replaces the stock one, it just fits over it. it ALMOST fits lengthwise. it's been sitting in freezing weather here so i'm gonna see if i can heat it up a bit and fit it on....went and bought a hair blower from walmart.

I'm at work now so i'll have to do it on monday. i just kinda let it hang on the car though to see what it would look like and if i can make it fits, it's gonna look awesome.

 

Post up some shot of the project while putting it on to show everyone how far off it is... Im excited to see what it's going to look like. I'm crazy picky when it comes to lips. I'm even having a hard time getting into the rrm one. Lol

 

Here's a couple shots of the lip and the box it came in. As you can see, it almost wraps the stock lip. if i push it down a little further into it, there's prob about a cm to pull over. I'm hoping tonight to stretch it out a bit and see what happens. for 75 bucks it's a lot cheaper than the RRM one.

 

I wonder if i can make that work on my aftermarket evo 8 bumper..

If i get into a head on collision im probably going to lose my car anyway. Especially if insurance wanted to total my car out for a bent control arm and a bumper before. had to talk em out of it
