I'd replaced it with one that would open at a lower engine temperature I think, my DSM friend had suggested doing this, I was having problems my first winter with the car even producing warm/hot air, the previous thermostat checked out fine but the new one fixed that problem.

We got screwed by the weekly forecast again, was beautiful out yesterday, now we're heading back below -20 with snow again.. grr. New city instead of a new thermostat next time maybe..

Hey man, me too... it was -29 this morning, and my car was NOT happy...
Leaving it plugged in all night tonight.

Wanna move to Vancouver? We can start a grow-op. Little ralliarts running all over the place.
What kinda grow-op did you think I meant?

-29 is pretty rough on our cars.. it was -32 (felt like -41) this morning.. mine was plugged in all night.. you should have heard mine start up this morning. I cringe every time it's this cold.

I was thinking the kind of grow-op that is synonymous with Vancouver (and BC in general) haha.
