So How do you explain the trunk on is car ?

I come every day for read need topic... The last post was closed, because you think I'm stupid.

With the pics can you say me why this Lancer have a EVO Trunk.

 

I'm going to say its an evo spoiler on a lancer trunk...

The first picture you posted is a Ralliart trunk that was custom made to look like the evo trunk.

 

Ok well of you on here everyday an you still can't see the difference from an evo trunk and a lancer trunk then there you can't see details and /or read the cars are from another continent and they come like that BUT they still are NOT evo trunks. If you want your trunk to look like that then go to a bodyshop and tell them to fill it in with bondo so it looks like that. Or you could look for a euro version and have it shipped overseas. So do some more homework the US version is just that there are many differences from country to country

 

Calm down captian. Its called CUSTOM trunks. People had body guys fill it in. but i do think there WAS a aftermarket trunk made that was already filled in but has been long discontinued. So buy a can of bondo and go hog wild. Or go buy an 02-03 lancer.

Glad we cleared that up , post up some pics LAKUZARD when you get it in and installed

 

the aftermarket trunk that came with that area filled in is no longer being sold from what i remember. so only way to get that look is to go to a bodyshop and have it filled in yourself

 

that's one thing i like more about my 03 lancer...that and the headlights...everything else about the ralliart was enough for me to forgive its minor cosmetic shortcomings...i wanted one ever since they came out in 2002, but had no money in high school...

I would think that would look better, but i don't like the evo rear bumper...

 

im pretty sure the evo trunk or rear bumper wherre made ilegal do to saftey issues when hit from behind.

 

well they put the license plate back down to the bumper in 08, and the Evo has never had it in the trunk lid...

 

Is this the yearly bump for this thread? Well almost a year.

 

remember, our generation car was the mistake year where they made a bunch of unnecessary changes (trunk, rear bumper, front bumper, headlights) and they decided it was time to go back to their original ideas

i think its around that time of year where we get noobs bumping random threads to get their post counts up
