Reaching 107k miles

Anything I should look to do? My car is running fine, except that the brakes are a little rough. I haven't done much to the car since I bought it. Any suggestions?

I feel ya...I'm @ 103, xxx but it's just the breaks that are starting to screech. It might be the pads though? I got a tune-up about 2 months ago (sparkplugs, etc) and they told me everything was good.

Not trying to hi-jack the thread but can any of you advise me/us on what to look out for as far as signs that something's wrong (water pump, timing belt...) ?

Timing belt doesn't give signs of wearing out, it just breaks. Replace it every 60,000 miles to prevent this. Water pump will start having some play in the shaft, which you can check for when changing the serp belt. IMO, it's a good idea to just change it every 120,000 miles while doing the timing belt.
